Somatic Coaching

Our bodies remember everything. Every experience. Every unspoken fear. Every childhood wound.

 

Long after we’ve made sense of things in our minds, the body still holds the score, storing pain, trauma, and emotional residue that can show up as people-pleasing, constant overthinking, anxiety, shutdown, and many other symptoms of emotional dysregulation.

 

Somatic coaching is a trauma-informed, body-based approach that helps you listen to what your nervous system has been trying to say all along. It’s about learning to follow your triggers as a map and to view each one as a signpost pointing to what has been left unfinished, what still needs healing, or what still longs to be fully felt.

 

In our work together, we use sensation, breath, imagination, creative visualization, colour, elements, and more as a gateway to the parts of you that words cannot always reach.

 

As you begin to notice your triggers in real time, you learn to regulate, respond, and relate differently. What once felt overwhelming starts to soften. The intensity of the trigger begins to reduce, and with that softening, your perspective shifts.

 

You begin to see people, places, situations, and circumstances differently—through the eyes of clarity rather than survival. The emotional charge dissolves, and what once felt threatening becomes manageable, even neutral. This clarity isn’t limited to relationships or memories—it can reach all the way into everyday life: emails that used to spike your anxiety, forms you avoided, moments that once felt loaded with fear or shame. Even those begin to lose their grip. At its core, somatic coaching is about learning to regulate your nervous system, which, for many of us, has been stuck in survival mode for years. When the nervous system doesn’t know how to regulate, it constantly reacts to the world around it, staying in a loop of hyper vigilance, shutdown, or overdrive. This work teaches you not only how to step out of that loop, but also how to remove the loop as much as possible, so its effect becomes negligible—no longer running your life in the background. This somatic coaching model includes 2 one-hour sessions per month, every 2 weeks, spaced intentionally to allow time for integration and practice between sessions. This rhythm supports deep transformation without overwhelm—so you can take the work into your real life and return to each session with more clarity, capacity, and connection to yourself. Whether you're navigating emotional overwhelm, burnout, childhood trauma, or a major life transition, somatic coaching offers a grounded, embodied path forward. You don’t need more advice.
